Believe & Conquer Therapeutic Services was created by Brittany Lawrence. Brittany is a licensed and registered occupational therapist who has diligently served the pediatric population in Georgia, attempting to promote optimal development and engagement in every day tasks. Although the focus of services were to address developmental delays with her pediatric clients, dialogue with parents during the sessions highlighted the need for parental support as well.

Brittany began to reflect on her own parenting journey, as she is now a parent of a teenager and a toddler. She was heavily impacted by postpartum depression after giving birth, and although there were options provided to remedy her fluctuating mental health, she was never offered the option to learn how to deal with her mental health as well as continue cultivating a bond with her children. Thus, Believe & Conquer Therapeutic Services was created to fill that gap!
Brittany has always had a passion for helping others, children and adults alike. Her ultimate goal is to provide support for women throughout their pregnancy and parenting journey, help nurture the dyadic bond between mom and child, and promote unity within the entire family.

Dr. Brittany Lawrence, OTD, OTR

I began my career in the outpatient pediatric setting where I served children with varying developmental delays and disabilities from ages 0 -18 years old, with the goal of promoting optimal functional engagement in their daily activities. After having my second child, I transitioned from a full-time outpatient pediatric OT, into the role of a school based occupational therapist, so that I could be more "present" with my daughter and intentionally cultivate and nurture our bond. However, as my daughter got older, I felt the need to return back into the clinic so that I could continue providing early intervention services to children with developmental delays. Hearing experiences from new moms about their lack of support during the perinatal and postpartum period sparked a desire for me to create a space to promote maternal health along with child development.

After being diagnosed with degenerative arthritis in my lower spine, hips, and knees, I was in search of an exercise that would not cause so much strain on my joints (I used to weight train for years). I decided to look into Pilates since I'd heard so much about its benefits, and I quickly fell in love. I noticed that my core strength had significantly improved (it had become weaker after my second child), I noticed that I had better posture, and I realized that I began to feel better about myself internally and externally. These observations ignited the desire in me to be a catalyst for others to have the same experiences!​
